We have many different parties and events that happen every day in the city. As part of the advancement process within the three groups, there are requirements for attending and hosting parties. If you’re hosting a party, that can count either toward your hosting requirement or your attendance requirement, but it does not count for both. Parties should not be complicated. Just look at the schedule, find an open time, and call people to join you for the party. If you’d like to set up a regularly scheduled event, contact Meri and she’ll be able to help get you set up. Don’t overcomplicate the party, just have fun. This page describes the different types of parties and events in the city. Attendance to any party is highly encouraged, whether or not it counts toward a requirement. When you attend, participation is welcomed and encouraged, so don’t be afraid to approach someone. Everyone is there for the same reason.

πŸŽ‰ City Event πŸŽ‰

City events are large scale, city-wide, events. These events are planned and organized by Meri, and can range from a single day to a full week. Meri may reach out to others to help with certain aspects of the event, but she is the one planning and organizing these events. AttendanceΒ  does not count toward attendance requirements.

πŸŽ‰ Stray Cat Lounge Event πŸŽ‰

Stray Cat Lounge has at least one, up to three events in a day. These events are two hours long with a regular DJ, Host or Hostess and up to two dancers to an event. Unlike other events in the city, Stray Cat Lounge events are less RP and more OOC. That doesn’t mean RP can’t or doesn’t happen, just that things are far more relaxed. Attendance does not count toward attendance requirements.

πŸŽ‰ Sorority / Fraternity Music Events πŸŽ‰

Albums With Ancilla and Open Mic Nights are special Music Events that are held at the Sorority House or the Fraternity House. This is an hour or two with a single DJ and no host or hostess. Acting as a DJ at a music event doesn’t count toward hosting requirements. Attendance does not count toward attendance requirements.

πŸŽ‰ Sorority / Fraternity House Party πŸŽ‰

Unlike the Music Events, the House Parties are sex focused events held on the Sorority or Fraternity grounds. Sorority House Parties can be held by any Sorority Sister, while Fraternity House Parties can be held by any Fraternity Member. These parties are sexually focused and driven, and the party host is encouraged to join the sexual activities. Hosting a Sorority or Fraternity party counts toward party hosting requirements while attendance counts toward the party attendance requirements.

πŸŽ‰ University Class Party πŸŽ‰

A University Class Party is a class that happens on the University grounds, but it isn’t a traditional teaching class. The class is geared to be an excuse for sex. For example, it could be a class teaching how to perform blow jobs, or a “literature” class that examines the sexual nature of the topic. Use your imagination and have fun with it. The participants are encouraged to engage in the sex and the “instructor” should be helping to encourage the sexual activities. The host (instructor) does not typically join in the sex, but is not prohibited from doing so. Hosting a Class Party counts toward hosting requirements and attending counts toward the attendance requirements.

πŸŽ‰ Business Party πŸŽ‰

A Business Party is a type of party that happens in a business. More often than not, this type of party should lead to sex. In this case, the host of the event picks a business in the city, such as the Donut Shop for example, and acts as an employee of the establishment. Stray Cat Lounge also has a bar in which a business party can be held, provided it isn’t happening at the same time as a Stray Cat Lounge event. The host lets others know that the business is open so people can join in the fun. Sex is highly encouraged for these parties, and the host can join in the sexual activities if they desire. Hosting a Business Party counts toward hosting requirements and attending counts toward the attendance requirements.

πŸŽ‰ City Party πŸŽ‰

A City Party is a party that happens in the city, outside of the University or other businesses. It could be a beach party at Stray Cat Beach, a campout in Chi Tau Forest, or any other idea you might have. Like the Business Party, sex is highly encouraged and the host can join in the sexual activities if they desire. Hosting a City Party counts toward hosting requirements and attending counts toward the attendance requirements.

πŸŽ‰ Gaming Party πŸŽ‰

A Gaming Party usually happens at Stray Cat Arcade, but can easily happen at other locations throughout the city where a game table can be set up. The purpose of the gaming party is to bring people together to play a game. Sometimes the game will have a sexual outcome, such as BYA Greedy, but that is not a requirement. Hosting a Gaming Party counts toward hosting requirements and attending counts toward the attendance requirements.

πŸŽ‰ Discourse Groups πŸŽ‰

A Discourse is a discussion group designed to teach and learn from each other. The Discourse host brings a topic that they want to discuss and will teach on that topic and open the topic up to questions and answers. It is a structured event and it is highly encouraged to attend the Discourse Groups. If you have something you want to share, consider hosting your own Discourse Group to share your knowledge and experience with others. There are no Discourse hosting requirements, but there are Discourse attendance requirements required for advancing.

πŸŽ‰ Sorority Open House / Fraternity Open House / City Greeting πŸŽ‰

The Sorority Open Houses are hosted by Sorority Sisters. The Fraternity Open Houses are hosted by Fraternity Members. City Greeting sessions are hosted by City Townsfolk. The purpose of these hosting sessions is to welcome people to the city and let them know about the sorority, fraternity or city as a whole. Hosting is a requirement at later levels in the groups and does require attending a training class before you can start hosting.
