Two things that come up occasionally are “what is a sorority” and “what do the letters XT mean”.
Rather than trying to explain what a sorority is myself, I’ll guide you to the wikipedia page on the subject:

As far as the letters, the are not, as some assume, the english letters “Ecks Tee”… they are in fact the greek letters Chi Tau (pronounced “Kie Tah”… see the wikipedia page for the greek alphabet https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_alphabet), and they stand for the greek phrase Chysi Tsoula.
Chysi Tsoula translates colloquially from greek to english as “Cum Slut”… hence…
XT = Chi Tau Sorority = Cum Slut Sorority.
So that’s how we got our name (the city grew from us, so took the same name).
And now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
